Page 1 of 5 As a Troika of American Zionist Orthodox Jews Planning the New Future of
the Middle East Rajai R. Masri Tuesday May 7, 2019
How interesting that three American Zionist Orthodox Jews, out of the entire 330 million American population, are out of all people of the world to contrive a Solution to an almost century old Palestinian Problem!
The troika comprised of
Jared Corey Kushner, have been diligently working on a plan since the coming of President Donald Trump to the
Oval Office more than two years, on a much-touted Project to end the Palestinian- Israeli conflict termed with the grandiose title: “The Deal of the Century.” Jared Kushner, very novice in International Relations and World Diplomacy is in full charge of Producing the said Project.
Five days ago, Jared Kushner at an interview at the Washington Institute of the Middle East touched upon the Project of the “Deal of the Century,” giving a broad underlying concept of the plan before what appeared a live sympathetic audience. Jared Kushner revealed during the said interview that the “Deal of the Century” Project is intended for release by next month, on the month of June, 2019

What’s truly baffling is that all three members of the said troika are staunch Zionist Orthodox Jews who received significant part of their past schooling in Yeshiva Jewish religious schools. They all supporters of the construction of Jewish Settlements in Israeli Occupied Arab Territories who oppose – very much in line with the Israeli extreme right and Benjamin Netanyahu – to the two-state solution. The troika appears to have in the past actively supported the construction of Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
It would seem appropriate in this context to throw some light as below – courtesy of the research engine Google – on the backgrounds of the members of the troika given the formidable task at hand intended to transform the entire face of the Middle East and likely, once and for all, end the Palestinian Question.
Jason Dov Greenblatt, David Melech Friedman and
headed by the son-in-law of the US President,

Greenblatt always stated that “West Bank settlements are not an obstacle to peace.”
In late December 2016, Trump named Greenblatt as his Representative for International Negotiations for his incoming administration. Greenblatt is one of only four administration officials with access to Trump’s plan for Middle East peace, alongside Jared Kushner, Ambassador David Friedman and Kushner aide Avi Berkowitz.

• Jason Dov Greenblatt (born 1967) is the son of Hungarian
Jewish refugees, and grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City. He was educated at Yeshiva Dov Revel, the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy, followed by Yeshiva University where he studied English.
Greenblatt has worked for Trump since 1997, rising to executive vice president and chief legal officer to Trump and the Trump Organization, and his advisor on Israel.
David Melech Friedman was an American bankruptcy lawyer and
the United States Ambassador to Israel. In December 2016, President-elect
Trump’s transition team announced that Friedman was Trump’s nominee
for ambassador. His nomination was met with support from conservative
Israeli and Jewish American activist groups, and opposition from liberal
advocacy organizations, particularly J Street.
Friedman was one of four children born to Morris S. Friedman, a Temple Hillel rabbi His father was a rabbi at Temple
Hillel,ba Conservative synagogue in North Woodmere, and served as the head of the New York Board of Rabbis. He graduated from Hebrew Academy of Nassau County (HANC) high school in 1974, and earned his bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Columbia University, graduating in 1978.
Friedman volunteered to head American Friends of Bet El Institutions, an organization that advocates against a two-state solution to the Israeli– Palestinian conflict and provides around $2 million per year to the Israeli
settlement Bet El. The organization also received donations from the family foundation of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law. In 1999, Friedman dedicated the Friedman Faculty House. The settlement runs the Israeli newspaper Arutz Sheva, where Friedman is a columnist. In his writings and statements, Friedman repeatedly argued in support of Israeli settlements, declaring them legal.

• Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981) is an American investor, real-estate developer, and newspaper publisher who is currently senior advisor to his father-in-law, Donald Trump, the President of the United
States. Kushner is the elder son of the former real-estate developer Charles Kushner, the son of Jewish immigrants from the USSR. As a result of his father’s conviction for fraud and incarceration, he took over management of his father’s real estate company Kushner Companies, which launched his business career.
Kushner was raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish family. He graduated from the Frisch School, a Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school, and enrolled at Harvard University in 1999. Journalist Daniel Golden has alleged that Kushner was accepted due to his father’s donations and history with the school.
The story has it that Jared Kushner was once as a youngster to recede his sleeping bed at his parents’ home in New York to visiting Benjamin Netanyahu to spent the night at the residence of his close friends the Kushners.
To be added to the list, a notch below the other members of the troika actively assisting in developing the “Deal of the Century”:
• Avi Berkowitz, 28, is in many ways Kushner’s protégé, following him to Kushner Companies, then to Trump’s campaign, and now to the West Wing. Both Ivy League-educated lawyers, they have matching dispositions and similar worldviews influenced by their Jewish schooling and deep ties to Israel, according to several of Berkowitz’s friends who spoke with Business Insider. Berkowitz reflects a larger trend in a White House staffed by friends and family of a president who prizes loyalty and de-prioritizes political experience.
Interestingly, members of the American Jewish community always played the leading role advising and acting as the American Peace Mediators between the Israelis and the Arabs ever since Dr. Henry Kissinger started his shuffle diplomacy in the mid-1970s. However, Dr. Kissinger ever since was followed by prominent American Jewish diplomats assuming the American intermediation for peace in the Middle East. Come to mind in this regard individuals like Denis Ross, Martin Indyk and David Aaron Miller, to name a few. This as other Jewish Americans were retained as Presidential Advisors for the Middle East in the examples of Richard Haass under the Administrations of the Bushs, father and son; and Robert Malley, advising President Bill Clinton on the Middle East.
American Jews having traditionally occupied the front rank of American emissaries intermediating for peace between the Jewish Israelis. This truth appears to had been at the source of the wondering once of the late Syrian President Hafez El-Assad as related by the Egyptian Journalist Mohammad Hasaneen Haykal, as Assad mused, “How come of all the Americans only Jewish Emissaries are sent to intermediate between Jewish Israel and the Arabs!”
However, this time around with the troika the stakes are much, much higher determining the whole future of the Palestinian problem and the entire future of the Middle East.
With a current American Administration that is proven totally biased towards Israel, rather towards the agendas of the extreme right Israeli polity; and with conservative Arab regimes, foremost the Arab Gulf Regimes, quite amenable and malleable to President Trump’s agendas, suasions and the US President’s rather bellicose adventurous policies for the Middle Eastern region.
Now with the American Administration under President Donald Trump showing unprecedented flagrant bias in favor of Israel and against the Palestinians, with the US Administration, for the first time, by example, substantially cutting aid to UNRAW that for almost 70 years been providing essential social services to the Palestinian refugees; the administration’s ordering the closing of the PLO offices in the US; President Trump’s recognition of United Jerusalem the Capital of Israel, and with the Trump Administration Recognizing the Occupied Syrian Heights as part of Sovereign Israel, the big question here arises, “What shape the ‘Deal of the Century’ would really take with a totally biased American Administration and a

Page 5 of 5 staunch Zionist Jewish Orthodox troika been put in charge of Delivering a Final
Solution to the Palestinian Problem!”
When Jared Kushner speaks in the interview at the Washington Institute of “Guaranteeing the Security” of Israel “While Improving the Economic Conditions of the Palestinians,” most probably what Kushner is leading to, given the steps that have already been taken by the Trump Administration thus far, “The Liquidation of the Palestinian Problem.”
Ironically, one wonders what further security Israel needs, being one of the strongest and most effective army in the world!
The Palestinians’ problem is NEVER an economic problem. The Palestinian Problem It is a rightful self-determination problem at the core with Palestinian refugees should be given the choice to return to their homes and usurped properties.
The question one asks high and loud, “What the troika is after trying to Reinvent the Wheel?” The matter is Darn Straightforward, Simple and Clear, once one takes away the Zionists’ avaricious settler colonialist designs and territorial expansionism plans in continuing violations of the International law.
The matter is Simple & Straightforward: “End the unlawful Israeli Occupation” and “Implement a long stack of UN Resolutions 181, 194, 242 and 338, etc.” “Annul the ‘Law of Return’ designated to welcoming world Jewry so that the disposed Palestinian Refugees, instead, should have the priority to ‘Return to their homes.’”
A bewildered observer is in need of a convincing response, “Why in the world a troika of staunch Zionist American Orthodox Jews are Needing to Reinvent the Wheel?”
